Save the Date

Greetings Allante' Friends, The AACC is proud to be hosting the 14th National Allanté XLR meet in Savannah Georgia.

Okay a few notes for our Save the Date: the AACC portion of the event will be three days Thursday 10/19, Friday 10/20 and Saturday 10/21 with departure on Sunday 10/22. That means that our Club will caravann to Savannah sometime Thursday morning. Naturally we will be driving I-75S (try to stay awake!)and on to I-16 into Savannah. Paula is thinking we should leave Atlanta area around 8:30 am in order to have lunch at Carey Hilliards in Pooler around 1 pm, but she will confirm this with us later.

Here is the itinerary published by our sponsor John Monzo and The National Cadillac Allanté XLR Club

UPDATE: Here is the direct link for booking The Marriott with Special Rate

The Marriott has undergone extensive renovations and looks much more contemporary and lovely. Your rate for the hotel is $169/night. Be sure to make your reservations quickly. Note: If you drive an Allante' or an XLR you do not have to pay for parking. If you don't it's $19/day to park your car. Based on communications from folks who have already made reservations, it looks to be a great turnout.

Savannah, a coastal Georgia city, is separated from South Carolina by the Savannah River. It’s known for manicured parks, horse-drawn carriages and antebellum architecture. Its historic district is filled with cobblestoned squares and parks such as Forsyth Park shaded by oak trees covered with Spanish moss. At the center of this picturesque district is the landmark, Gothic-Revival Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist.

Take the time to wander off the beaten path and experience the history, beauty and charm of this beloved coastal city.

We look forward to seeing you.
