Christmas Dinner
Saturday 4:00pm

Dec 14, 2019

Mary Mac's Tea Room
224 Ponce De Leon Ave NE
Atlanta, GA

Hello Allante' Family,

Linda Penfield and I were discussing options for a Christmas/Holiday luncheon and local Christmas lighting event, she mentioned Mary Mac's for early dinner and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens as the solution. Great idea!!!

Mary Mac's serves classic Southern cuisine. Famous entrees at Mary Mac's include: fried chicken dredged in buttermilk and flour, country-fried steak, and chicken pan pie topped with thick giblet gravy. Also popular is the restaurant's fresh vegetables, and corn bread with pot likker, a ham broth made with turnip greens. Sides dishes offered include: black-eyed peas, fried green tomatoes, whipped potatoes, fried okra, macaroni and cheese, and sweet-potato souffle. Desserts include peach cobbler and banana pudding. YUM!

So we will plan to meet at Mary Mac's for dinner (no reservations on weekends). We can choose from the menu or from their holiday menu. Plus! They have a full bar for refreshments.

Following dinner we will caravan to 1555 Peachtree St NW to the Invesco Building (intersection of Spring and Peachtree and sponsor for this year's lighting) for parking and shuttle service to the Garden Nights/Holiday Lights displays and exhibits.

General Admission tickets for non-members are $34.95/person, or Premium Admission for non-members at $44.95/person (comes with a drink).

If you choose to forego the Garden Nights/Holiday Lights display in the Botanical Gardens that's your choice, but the displays are spectacular, accompanied by synchronized holiday music throughout the Gardens. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with no rains and/or freezing temperatures.

We all look forward to taking an afternoon and evening to enjoy our Allante' family and the Christmas outing.

See you on the 14th of December at 4 pm at Mary Mac's for delicious southern dining.
