Merry Christmas!
Here's the update for which you have been breathlessly waiting. Our rally point for the Atlanta folks is the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in famous Canton, GA. We will meet there at 9 am with departure at 9:30 am heading to Blue Ridge, GA and on to Murphy, NC. From there we will meet at approximately 1 pm for lunch at the Sweet Onion in Waynesville, NC (39 Miller Street, Waynesville 28786).
From Waynesville we will depart around 2 pm for Johnson City, TN and the fabulous Carnegie Hotel!!! After check-in at the Carnegie and a brief rest, we will head toward the Bristol Speedway for the Speedway in Lights Festivities. Following our driving tour of the Speedway in Lights we will return to the Carnegie for dinner at 7:30pm in the Wellington restaurant in the hotel.
Saturday after breakfast we will explore the villages surrounding Johnson City, returning to the Carnegie no later than 4 pm for a little rest. Cocktails at 5:30 pm with dinner at Pacific Cafe at 7 pm.
So gas up the Allante' or other Cadillac and get ready for a weekend cruise that will definitely infuse you with the Christmas Spirit. See you soon on Friday 2 December at the Cracker Barrel or, the Sweet Onion, or the Carnegie Hotel.
