Phil and Jeannette Waldrop live in Big Canoe, are originally from Indiana and taught in the public schools there.

Jeannette continued her elementary-level teaching in Texas (1978-1995) and Georgia, while Phil taught university-level courses in the fields of industrial technology, manufacturing engineering, and technical management.  He also has worked in a variety of manufacturing industries, primarily as a manager of aerospace/defense advanced manufacturing technology R&D. He retired in 2011 from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, but continues to teach online courses on a part-time basis.

They both enjoy volunteer work with community and professional organizations, along with travel, reading, good food and wine.  They are enjoying their Pearl Flax (yellow) 1993 Allante', which they purchased from former Allante' Atlanta President Jerry Crooks in January 2013. They have had various cars of interest over the years, including several Hudson cars of 1937-54 vintage. 

They currently own a restored 1947 Hudson Super Six Brougham (2-door sedan).
